🧭 scenic beach state park!
yet another beautiful spot on the kitsap peninsula, scenic beach state park offers lovely beach views of hood canal, gorgeous flowers, historic structures, and a short but lush forest hike.
(apologies for the forest hike footage being a little blurry; i forgot to switch my camera to its low-light setting. sadly, i probably forgot again later in this trip. stay tuned i guess!)
in may 2026 i had the opportunity to work & play in western washington state for a couple of weeks. this is the 9th of 18 mini-adventures i took with southern minnesota guy as we made the most of our time in america’s beautiful pacific northwest!
my trail name’s mythic and in 2026 i’m continuing my multi-year thru-hike (m.y.t.h.) of the pacific crest trail. as i prepare to return to the pct (and hopefully tackle other section- and thru-hikes in the future), i'm going on day hikes to help keep in trail shape!
