☠️ bright lake county park!
on november 4, 2025, i went on a short but sweet hike with southern minnesota guy around bright lake county park in martin county, minn. — traditional territory of the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, Yankton, and Wahpeton nations.
this isn’t much of a park for hiking, but it’s lovely for kayaking in warmer weather, with a large parking area and nice place to launch — and lunch!
my trail name’s mythic and in 2025 i continued my multi-year thru-hike (m.y.t.h.) of the pacific crest trail. as i make plans to return to the pct (and hopefully tackle other section- and thru-hikes in the future), i'm going on day hikes to help keep in trail shape!
