snowshoeing!
☃️ cedar creek park!
on november 30, 2025 i strapped on my snowshoes and tromped around the woods of cedar creek park in fairmont, minnesota — traditional territory of the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ and Wahpeton nations.
the fresh, fluffy snow provided terrific terrain for southern minnesota guy and me on our first snowshoeing adventure of the season. in warmer times this park hosts disc golf tournaments, cross-country meets, easter egg hunts, picnics, parties, and lots of hiking and biking.
my trail name’s mythic and in 2025 i continued my multi-year thru-hike (m.y.t.h.) of the pacific crest trail. as i make plans to return to the pct (and hopefully tackle other section- and thru-hikes in the future), i'm going on day hikes to help keep in trail shape!
