day hike!
👟 burt lake county park!
on october 23, 2025, i crossed the border into iowa for a short hike with southern minnesota guy at burt lake county park — traditional territory of the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ and Wahpeton nations.
i responded to a question about how i handled blisters while on the pacific crest trail, focusing on my choice of footwear and use of moleskin.
my trail name’s mythic and in 2025 i continued my multi-year thru-hike (m.y.t.h.) of the pacific crest trail. as i make plans to return to the pct (and hopefully tackle other section- and thru-hikes in the future), i'm going on day hikes to help keep in trail shape!
