my pct so far: part 8

my pct adventure continued in 2024, just not up at stehekin, wash., as i’d planned!

instead, joined by trail pal blue magic and my sister-in-law, i made a last-minute flip down to the columbia river gorge — watch my recent “trail talk” video for why — and headed southbound.

these first couple of days in oregon were incredible, with numerous waterfalls and gorgeous scenery, before southern minnesota guy met up with us on-trail and then gave us a ride from lolo pass to the town of government camp for a zero day.

• day 34 - july 22, 2024
  started at eagle creek trail mile 11.6; hiked ~12.7 miles

• day 35 - july 23, 2024
  started at trail mile 2133.3; hiked 16.4 miles
