day hike!

on october 12, 2025, i went on a day hike with southern minnesota guy around hitchcock nature center in pottawattamie county, iowa — traditional territory of the Báxoje Máyaⁿ (Ioway), Umoⁿhoⁿ (Omaha), Jíwere–Ñút’achi Máyaⁿ (Otoe-Missouria), and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ nations.
my trail name’s mythic and in 2025 i continued my multi-year thru-hike (m.y.t.h.) of the pacific crest trail. as i make plans to return to the pct (and hopefully tackle other section- and thru-hikes in the future), i'm going on day hikes to help keep in trail shape!
